Israel Experience 2005[Day 9 - 22nd June 2005]
Today is one of the day that I've been looking forward to in the trip; We will be going to certain holy sites of great significance where Jesus thread upon, where miracles happened, it's so amazing going back in time to where Jesus has been. The presence and the atmosphere of holiness in the areas was beyond description!
A church on the Mount of Beatitudes. Beatitudes in Latin means "blessed" or "happy"

Yep, it's Karen and Me at the Mount of Beatitudes! It's a high and scenic place to be! Awesome!
We're following the footsteps of Jesus, travelling from the Mount of Beatitudes to Tabgha, where this church is.
Tabgha is a place of multiplication of the fish and loaves (the feeding of the multitudes). The place has 7 springs which means it is rich in water and fish! So here we are in the church where this holy rock is believed to be where Jesus had performed the miracle of the multiplication!
Behind us is the Sea of Galilee! It's just right next to the church!
Here we are in our next destination, Capharnaum, the hometown of Jesus. Capharnaum is located in the northern side of the sea of Galilee and has a population of 3000 to 5000 people.
This is part of the White Synagogue from the late 4th Century AD.

Besides leaving my heart with Israel, I left something else there physically too! That is my tree!!! Yep, I planted a tree in the Land of the Bible!
Been there, done it and took a picture! Here's me after planting my tree firmly to the ground...hahahaha!
And here's a close-up of my tree growing at the Word of Life Forest! Am so proud of it!!!
